Our room (217) was on the second floor but since there are two lifts that was not a problem. The room was not large but there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was small but again there was plenty of room and the shower was hot and powerful. There was no balcony but since there was not much of a view that didn't matter. The hotel is very central, a minute's walk from the Baths of Nero and a few more minutes to the Piazza dei Miracoli, but the street is very quiet and we were never bothered by noise. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Centrally located small, quiet hotel, no frills but you are not expecting any. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the bed linen great quality, power shower worked well & good continental breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The location was excellent, we could see the leaning tower from the rooftop terrace. The choice of two stations were only 15 minutes away. Pisa Central with trains direct to Florence and other main cities, or Pisa Rossore to Lucca. Plenty of places to eat and drink in, plus in a quiet location. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice available. People on the reception desk gave some fantastic recomendations for resturants!

Excellent location, 5mins from Tower, 5 mins from center bars and restaurants, 10 mins from shopping areas. Roof terrace was a good escape area for winding down, reading, and views over Tower and Walls. Room was comfortable and cool without having to resort to AC. Breakfasts were good and breakfast room with a historical past. Storage for luggage always useful when late flights or early arrivals. Reception manned 7 x 24 so always someone on hand to assist.

This quaint and quirky hotel is close to the Leaning Tower and restaurants, within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It was especially quiet during the night which I appreciated. We had a light breakfast each morning and even though no tea/coffee in the room this was plentiful at breakfast.

This hotel is ideally placed to explore the fascinating city of Pisa. There is so much more here than the leaning tower (although this is well worth climbing!). Situated in the lovely maze of medieval streets, this super hotel is quite traditional with amazingly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay so easy, providing lots of logistical help and advice, booking very reliable taxis for us and even providing umbrellas when there was a downpour. We felt well looked after, the hotel is very clean and the room (family room for 4) was very spacious indeed.

Great service at the reception, the receptionist was very helpful, when we tried to find the way to the hotel by car, he was on the phone practically the whole time we were trying to get through the old town. We also got very good tips what to see in the town (our original intention was to use Pisa as a sleep over town with just a short peek at the Pisa tower, but thanks to the instructions we stayed longer and fell quiet much in love with Pisa 😊). The hotel as such has a lovely small patio on the roof with a lovely view of the town, including the tower and breathtaking sundowns. The hotel is directly in the centre of old town, just a few minutes from the tower.

This hotel is so thoughtfully managed. I have stayed here two years in a row now, and my recent trip to Pisa was partly chosen knowing that I could count on this wonderful hotel. It's really a gem! While chain hotels can also offer good experiences, I must say that the family-owned and operated nature of this Hotel make a huge difference for me. The staff are engaged and attentive. They even had an extra plug adapter I could borrow. The rooms are comfortable and clean. If you're looking for amenities like a pool or fitness, this is not your place but if you want all the basics perfectly covered, with seamless interactions with staff and great location, then Hotel di Stefano is ideal. I highly recommend this place! Location is convenient, and breakfast was lovely. They have a coffee bar, and roof terrace too.

This is a small family run hotel on a quite street not far from the tower. it is spotlessly clean, the staff are so helpfull and go out of their way to make your stay as good as it can be. They provide a very good breakfast, that sets you up for the day. we found out in Italy twice as we travelled round the country, that some accommodation advertised as hotels, simply put are not. People are buying apartments in residential blocks and converting them into rooms for travellers to stay in but they say they are hotels. Be very carefull when booking hotels in Italy, make sure you do your research. The Hotel Di Stefano is however a proper hotel, i would stay here again without question, and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Di Stefano for making our holiday on both occassions we stayed there during our two week tour of Italy.

They stored our luggage before our check-in time and it was a very convenient process. Location was excellent. Room was nice, and it was clean and had a nice view of the patio. Breakfast was very good and in a nice dining area. All of the staff were professional and exceptional. There is a bar in the lobby. It was nice we could get a glass of wine and a beer and take to the rooftop patio and enjoy the view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
